So, my current afghan is developing at crazy-wild speed. I started it last Sunday at around this time, and in the week I've been working on it, I've done 29 inches. The pattern calls for 41 inches, but I may actually shorten that a bit. When I was casting on, I ran out of tail, so cut the width from 140 stitches to 129. Since the pattern is a bit narrow as written (35x41 inches), I worry it will look a bit too rectangular if I do all 41 inches. If I cut it down, it will only be a bit: the width is 32 inches, so I might stop at 38 inches or so. I don't know.

I found a really cute pattern for a hat that will match nicely, though, and it is done on straight needles, which makes me happy.

Knitting is fun.
