(no subject)

So, I finished my second afghan up yesterday afternoon, around 9 days after starting. I'm fairly proud of it: it's pretty and looks intricate, and the mistakes that had me beating my head against the wall while I was making them are barely visible in the final product. I know of 4 visible mistakes, but I have to look for them to find them on the afghan.

When I finished, I used some of the extra yarn to make a little hat with a straight needle pattern, since I am dismally bad at knitting in the round. It's a different pattern, but a similar feel, so they match. I am very proud of me.
