Jan. 21st, 2006 09:50 amTwo or three years ago, as a Christmas present for my then-boyfriend, now-husband, I took him into Boston to visit a strip club there. We had a great time. The place was nice, the dancers were friendly and attractive and limber and fun to watch, and the drinks were... well, at least adequate. It was pricey, but heck, it was supposed to be, right?
Last night we went again, as a Christmas present. We went out for a fancy (and incredibly good) dinner at 75 Chestnut, and then walked over to the club. And I think it's the last time we're ever going there.
( Cut for length )
Seriously, though. We blew around $85 to get totally ignored and drink mediocre drinks.
If I wanted to feel like I didn't exist, I'd write another letter to my senator. It's cheaper.
