Feb. 28th, 2008 09:27 amMy baby is making me so sad.
Both kids have been running through horrible cycles of absolutely lethal colds. Wesley went first, and over the course of 2 weeks is managing to bounce back, but Lorrie's just beginning her real upswing. She's sneezing and her nose is always running, and she's got a bit of a hacking cough.
The thing that is making me cry, though, is that she's been coughing so much that she's losing her voice. When she cries, it's this horrible, hoarse, thin wail, and she can't coo and babble hardly at all. It is horribly sad and heart-wrenching.
I want this winter to be over so badly. This has been a horrible winter. I am so longing to just crawl under the blankets and refuse to come out until spring agrees to show up.
